Clare and I went on a day trip to Frederick, MD.  We also visited the Catoctin area.  For Clare, it was a trip down memory lane, visiting ice cream parlors and the sites in Frederick.  Her parents often took the family brood to Frederick on day trips and I got to hear about some of the more memorable adventures that the Law family took.  We can start by going through a magical door that I open and whisk away to Catoctin Iron Works before heading to an ice cream shop of memories.  We then crossed a bridge to Frederick where a magical girl peaks at us but from what angle?

Some interesting landmarks in Frederick are the Courthouse, Weinberg Center and the Barbara Fritchie House.  But be careful, one never knows whose checking you out.
